The art of the long table
Why the shape of a table quietly decides the shape of a conversation.

The long table is one of the oldest forms of hospitality — and still one of the most powerful. It removes hierarchy, invites leaning in, and lets conversation travel.
When we design a gathering, seating is never an afterthought. We think about who should meet, who needs a familiar face nearby, and where the energy of the evening will sit.
Light matters too. Low, warm light flatters faces and slows people down. Candles, lanterns and soft pools of light make a room feel smaller in the best way.
